Methanol is important chemical products and chemical materials, and one of clean energy in the future. Methanol is widely used for producing plastics, synthetic fibers, synthetic rubber, dyestuffs, dope, flavor, medicine and pesticide, etc. At present, main downstream products of methanol include polypropylene, formaldehyde, acetic acid, MTBE, methylamines, chloromethane, and dimethyl ether, etc. The above mentioned products also can produce their derivatives respectively, chemical products made from methanol has reached several hundred kinds.

The Methanol project with annual output of 600,000 tons is under construction. The project adopts the advanced technology in the world; the product quality of methanol can reach international advanced standards, and its unit scale is among larger device at home. The coal material for the project is rich in Hebi. The current planning methanol downstream product is polypropylene. We are looking for the cooperative partners to produce polypropylene products and international advanced and mature production technology for other methanol downstream products.
